This ice type — which you might also know as chewblet® ice, nugget ice, or simply the “good” ice — absorbs quickly and is easy to chew, making it a crowd-pleaser for employees and customers across industries. You can find chewable ice in the 960.
Other ice makers, like the 956, provide tulip ice. Named for its tubular shape, tulip ice typically has a hollow middle and a rounded tip on the end. The hollowed-out cube chills your beverage more evenly since the surrounding liquid touches both the inside and the outside of the cube. That makes tulip ice great for mixed drinks, blended cocktails, and of course classic drinking water.
